BMW Motorrad, subsidiary of BMW is planning to launch below 1000cc bikes in India by 2012. BMW Bikes are world's most powerful bikes in the segment. BMW introduced BMW Bikes in India in last January this year.
BMW has target to sell 45 bikes in a year and they already sold 15 BMW bikes in India. BMW has India based dealers like Navnit Motors in Mumbai and Deutsche Motors in New Delhi. They imports bikes from Germany.
BMW is keen to start their own assembling plant facility in India but after sell of around 100 bikes. BMW has lots of bike offering like BMW S 1000RR, BMW K 1300S, BMW R 1200GS, BMW K 1600GTL, BMW R 1200R and BMW HP2 Sports. BMW Bikes price range is Rs. 18 to Rs. 23 lakh in India.
