Maruti Suzuki has reportedly hiked prices of all models by up to Rs. 9000, on the back of increasing input prices.
According to reports, the price hike across the models will range between 0.2% to 2.4%. It will translate into a minimum increase of Rs. 1,100 and a maximum of Rs. 9,000 depending on the model.
The price rise is with effect from April 4, said a financial daily.
Maruti Suzuki India is expecting its sales growth to moderate to around 15% this fiscal from nearly 25% last fiscal.
Maruti Suzuki Ltd total vehicle sales in FY11 (April-March) jumped by 24.8% to 1,271,005 units from 1,018,365 units in the previous fiscal year.
During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2011, Maruti’s domestic sales increased by 30% to 1,132,739 from 870,790 units in the previous fiscal year.

The leading luxury car makers in the India are planning to hike the prices of their luxury cars the government has increased tax. The majors auto companies including Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi and Land Rover are all set to up the price of their cars in the country.
